Hi to you all...

With some free time, spare exotic wood and natural rope i've made some toys and a swing for Themba:

And this is the display view of the whole set inside the cage:

The small box with a perch on the rigth corner with a small ladder underneath it was also made yesterday, for him to take a rest...

Opinions are welcome...

It all looks great except for one thing. It will be up to you to determine if it is important.

There have been reports of strings from the ends of ropes getting caught around the toes of parrots. The results are all the way from 'no problem' the string comes unbound, to loosing the toe to ultimately loosing the bird.

Just my openion, but I would keep the strings after the knote cut to 1" or shorter to preclude the chance of a string getting wound around a toe.

It looks great but i agree 100% with gary.a parot is a realy fun and asome bird to have and dangerous stoff like that can ceuse you to lose your pet and they realy get like family in your house
